Rachelle Jade is an illustrator and cartoonist living and creating in Brooklyn, NY where she was born x raised.

Her drawings depict dreamlike and surreal scenarios. Heavily inspired by her time spent in an all-girls Catholic school, the celebration of the feminine and the charm of fairytale illustrations; her current comic narratives explore the complexity and dynamics in female identities and relationships through beauty, culture, and our environment. 

Her work has been featured in publications such as Cake Zine and Tiny Splendor. Her clients include The Washington Post and the LA Times. She was formerly a member of Spicy Mango Comics, a woman-of-color run comics collective that independently published comics and zines and exhibited works at zine fairs nationwide. 

She also happens to be an educator with a deep passion for arts education and its ability to contribute to an individual’s well being and self-expression. She teaches in a variety of communities throughout New York, where she lives and works.
